What is a good parent?

It's not our job to get our children to "like" us. It's our job to do the hard thing, to do what is in their best interest every time.  If that means being in their face every time they need us to be, telling them the truth, calling them to greatness, that’s what we’ll do.. 

and most importantly.... living the example that we want them to follow.

God, help us not to grow weary in well doing today.
