Can God find us along the way?

Good News!  I was reading Samuel Chapter 9 today..  the anointing of Saul as King thru the prophet Samuel.  Do you ever feel like you're going about your daily life just about as "ordinary" as any life could be, wondering if God knows where to find you to maybe give you a "grand assignment"; something beyond ordinary that He want to do thru you in this life?  

Here was Saul, sent by his father to find the family's lost donkeys! Wandering here and there with no luck.. in the meantime Samuel the prophet was told by God, "This time tomorrow you will run across a man from Benjamin that has been selected by me to be King of Israel."  There was nothing about Saul of any notice at all!  Simply from an Israelite family, doing the family's work (fetching lost farm animals) handsome, and tall!  But that's all God needs.. it's His calling and His power that makes us special not anything within ourselves.

It was simply that God had selected him.

So if some days you feel like you're wandering the countryside looking for your family's donkeys, cheer up! God may just have a "grand assignment" for you & He knows just where to find you.
