Skipping 1 Person to Get to Another

Did you u ever notice that it's hard to settle down even on vacation?  Be still our covetous hearts :)... We exchange the home "things we have to do" list for the vacation "things we want to do" list.

Spending a vacation week away with my husband's company, we were sitting at breakfast enjoying a delicious buffet and the company of some co-workers, when in walks another couple from the company that we hadn't gotten to know yet.  They were a couple that I was intrigued by and just that morning running through my vacation "want to do" list was hoping to get to know them better at one of the resort restaurants or by the pool.  OMG ..there they were!

My mind started wandering from fully enjoying the couple we were with to wondering if there was any way to complete the visit & get over to the other couple!  That understanding came to me and I hated it!  No!  Stay present, enjoy and give this couple what they deserve ... your full attention.  Would Jesus ever discard one person to get to another?
